The Innovation Policy Platform (IPP) is a joint initiative by The World Bank and OECD aimed at facilitating knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning on various policies specific to developed and developing countries. It aims to support policy making efforts by providing open-data access through a rich knowledge discovery layer on top of a data warehouse of all OECD and WB data, which inturn would transform them into strategic intelligence

Azri executed the project with a partner technology company, where Azri developed the knowledge discovery layer which included an RDF driven Taxonomy & Search engine with advanced features to control facets using data from RDF files and enabling complex data visualization and graphical navigation across the platform.

Increasingly, democratically elected governments are publishing half-term reports on their performance, which are made available for citizens, media personnel, and policy analysts alike, to download, print and peruse.

Midway through his term, the German State of Hessen's Minister-president Volker Bouffier sought to deliver his government’s report in a sustainable, efficient and relevant way. His office wanted citizens to have access to up-to-date information, search and browse through hundreds of project reports, and custom print richly formatted reports. Azri was mandated to design and engineer a unified Web to Print knowledge experience, deploy the solution in record time, facilitate content updation and train key personnel to manage the service.

The Coca-Cola Happiness Institute is a Coca Cola Company initiative that conducts scientific research and disseminates knowledge on happiness and wellness. Led by a diverse team of experts: psychologists, teachers, and scientists, the institute studies variables that influence an individual's happiness, and organizes various outreach activities

Azri partnered with the Happiness Institute's digital agency based in Spain to build and manage a knowledge led social engagement platform which aims to be a trusted reference on happiness related studies powered by rich media content and inspiring infographics that could be shared easily. The platform also includes a dynamic intervention in the form of a happiness survey based on the Pemberton Happiness Index*.

The Daily Meal is the brainchild of former Forbes.com publisher Jim Spamfeller's publishing firm, Spamfeller Media Group. The company's plan to launch industry specific publishing platforms were kickstarted with Social Web Magazine focused on food and lifestyle.

Based on designs provided by the client's digital agency, Azri was responsible for front-end engineering and application development of the platform. Having chosen Drupal to build the solution, the effort included custom module development, API integrations with third party services, such as RecipeBridge.com's recipe search, CityGrid's geo-tagged restaurant search etc. The effort involved ensuring performance optimization using Memcache and Varnish, and deployment on a load-balanced High Availability (HA) environment.

Hypercompetitive practices in emerging mobile markets are pushing telco players to be nimble footed with short-term strategies alongside organic long term growth plans. As part of it's agenda in emerging markets, Vodafone Group identified 'Mobile Learning' as a growth area, and has been working to solve last mile technology challenges faced by schools in African and Asian countries through innovative interventions.

With time to market being key for Vodafone, Azri identified proven and tested Open Source technologies to build an education delivery platform for emerging markets. The platform is designed to work offline and online, with Cloud based Web services interfacing with any computing device over wireless and mobile networks to deliver content, support pedagogy and store learning records to help visualise and analyse progress and performance.
